Richard Chapman was appointed Town Clerk in October 2003 after
working at the Town Council as the Operations Manager for 2 years.
Before working in Local Government Mr Chapman who is a
trained horticulturalist spent many years as a
Contracts Manager in Landscape Maintenance.
Linda Blake - Deputy Town Clerk: Linda ensures that the Town Council Offices run smoothly and supervises a small team of office based staff. Linda is responsible for the Council's financial adminstration, producing financial reports and deputising for the Town Clerk in his absence.
Mary Piercy - P A to Town Clerk and Chairman: Administration of agendas, reports and minutes, arranging meetings, managment of diaries, dealing with all correspondence and provision of secretarial support .
Lyndsey Davies - Operations and Events Officer: Lyndsey organises a variety of events including Malvern in Bloom, Christmas Lights Switch-on, Remembrance and Charity Events. She is also responsible for the administration of operational areas including Great Malvern Cemetery. Lyndsey also produces the Council's quarterly newsletter.
Deborah Powell - Finance Officer: Deborah assists the Deputy Town Clerk with the day to day running of the Accounts Department, maintaining purchase & sales ledgers and producing purchase orders. She also undertakes reviews of contracts to ensure best value is obtained by the Council. She is also responsible for the administration and organisation of football and rounder pitches, as well as allotment enquiries.
Charles Porter - Operations Manager: Charles manages the Grounds Maintenance Team based at Great Malvern Cemetery and is responsible for the maintenance of all Town Council Assets. He organises tenders, quotes and operational projects.
Grahame Gibbins - Operations Supervisor: Graham is responsible for the day to day supervision of the Operations Team.
Martin Stevenson - Grounds Maintenance Operative: Carries out maintenance on all Town Council Assets and operational projects.
Joe Whiteman - Gardener/Groundsman: Carries out maintenance on all Town Council Assets, operational projects and overseas all bedding maintenance.
Jack Hill - Grounds Maintenance Operative: Carries out maintenance on all Town Council Assets and operational projects.
Dave Butler - Grounds Maintenance Operative: Carries out maintenance on all Town Council Assets and operational projects.
Craig Bowkley - Grounds Maintenance Operative: Carries out maintenance on all Town Council Assets and operational projects.
