The Christmas Light Switch On event for 2010 is on Saturday 4th December, this year we have a larger range of events for all ages.  A full programme of events will be available nearer to the date.

Christmas Light Switch On

28th November 2009

The Christmas Light Switch On this year took place on Saturday 28th November 2009.

The Lights were switch on this year by Amy Thompson - Channel Five Milshake presenter, Daisy the Cow and Chairman of Malvern Town Council Paul Tuthill.

 The light switch on this year was a huge success as it was the first year that it was held on a Saturday, it is thought that about 7,000 people were in Great Malvern.

25/12/2008 - Traders Christmas Window Competition 2008

Traders Christmas Window Competition 2008 - Over 30 traders entered the Christmas Window Competition this year. Judges were Chairman, Councillor Bovey and Children's presenter Michael Absalom. First prize went to Malvern Hills Art, second prize to Burleys Hairdressers and third prize to The Knitting Parlour.

Christmas Lights Switch-On 2008 - On Friday 21st November 2008, the Christmas lights were switched on by Clive Mantle, the evening was kicked off by Charlie Green singing some Christmas songs and Wyvern FM Helen Wheels son Patrick made an appearance.
