On Saturday 10 November, a free Festival of Remembrance Concert will take place at Great Malvern Priory starting at 3.00pm. The aim of the concert is to both commemorate and celebrate and it will include commemorative music, readings, poems and dance performed by local folk musician performers, Malvern College, Trench choir, Malvern Hills District Brass Band, and Malvern Quakers.
The afternoon concert is free of charge, and all are welcome to attend. A collection will be taken for The Poppy Appeal during the concert.
Remembrance Sunday Service at Great Malvern Priory and Great Malvern Library Sunday 11 November 2018
Please note that the arrangements for 2018 have changed from 2017 and this year there will be both a service at Great Malvern Priory at 9.30am with a wreath laying service at Great Malvern Library including the last post, two minutes silence and laying of wreaths at 11.00am.
The parade will start on Graham Road at 9.08am and will march along Graham Road, as far as the crossroads, turning right over the junction up Church Street to Great Malvern Priory for a service at 9.30am.
