White Ribbon Day 2025

Malvern Town Council will be marking White Ribbon Day with a series of online talks, panel discussions, and interviews running throughout the day on Tuesday, 25 November 2025.
White Ribbon Day is an internationally recognised day dedicated to raising awareness about violence against women and girls. The day aims to encourage people to take an active role in ending it.
White Ribbon was a movement founded 34 years ago in Canada and is now a globally recognised symbol to end men’s violence against women and girls. Their approach is preventative, focusing on supporting individuals and organisations to intervene before harmful attitudes and behaviours towards women and girls can take place.
During the day on Tuesday, 25 November, Malvern Town Council will be sharing a variety of resources in the form of short, pre-recorded videos from a variety of charities and organisations supporting White Ribbon Day. This will then be followed by a prerecorded panel discussion hosted by Cllr Emma Green and Cllr Josephine Leibrandt highlighting what violence can look like, who it affects, and how to get help.
All the resources will be available via the Malvern Town Council YouTube channel and social media accounts throughout the day.
